Esculturas is the third solo show by Gabriel Pericàs at the gallery.

The exhibition is articulated around a group of small and medium scale sculptures that build the conceptual architecture of Gabriel’s practice.

On display there are tangible elements which expand from older to new ideas. The new recent works coexist with older ones by creating a fluidity of ideas and elements which seem a constant in Gabriel’s work.

As the title indicates, all the works are conceived as sculptures, even if they were created using a methodology which might be closer to the writing process. A diverse group of elements that work here as estructures in possession of a tangible meaning modulated with prosaic ideas which collide with a more elevated thinking. Mostly complex exercises which reach the end of a long research, and which are shown at the gallery under the full beauty of an early discovery, or the vibrant excitement of a new love.
